From Sara P. (Lyra's Owner)--

"She is wonderful working with horses and very patient with them. She trained my young horse for 30 days and did an excellent job. I highly recommend her."

From Michelle P. (Luna's Owner) --

"I haven’t taken the opportunity to respond to Luna’s training and progress until now. I was quite happy and impressed with the patience shown during Luna’s time at Sandy Creek. Luna is suspicious of every new thing that comes her way. With the help of Sandy Creek we have been able to now easily trim Luna’s feet and handle her more safely. With the snowy winter we have only been able to lunge Luna and not really be able to ride her since her first week home. That first week home, My 15 year old daughter was able to walk and trot on her back and Luna was well behaved, thanks to the great foundation she received at Sandy Creek. While Luna had a wonderful start at Sandy Creek, she has the opportunity to move to Germany and continue life as a brood mare. We will miss Luna but I would never hesitate to take another horse to Sandy Creek for training or a refresher. She patiently brought Luna along to a point I wasn’t sure we would see in the 2 months she was there. I had my doubts that she would be able to be ridden so quickly and was pleasantly surprised when she was not only able to accept having someone on her back but walk, trot, canter both ways; Yield to pressure, pick up all 4 feet and become a good citizen. Thank you Sandy Creek, you did a fantastic job with Luna."

From Billy D.--

"I can't say enough wonderful things about my experience with Sadie at Sandy Creek Horse Training. Her knowledge and experience in training is outstanding, and her care and love for the horses she trains is quite evident.

I recently got a 10 year old quarter horse that five years ago received an injury while in the reining circuit. I was excited to get this beautiful horse, but I was also a little scared. I'm getting too old to be thrown, and my previous horse threw me a few too many times. 😲. As a result, I decided to enlist the services of Sadie with this new horse. Sadie rode my horse before I did to make sure she was safe for me to ride. I was particularly scared that I would do something to make her start doing her reining training. I did NOT want to do that because I have a love of "more slow than go" on horses. Fortunately, Sadie found that my horse, Zeeba, didn't remember her reining training from five years prior. Sadie said I didn't have to worry about her going into any slides or spins. Whew!
Sadie worked with me on my riding techniques, and she helped me build up my riding confidence once again. Looking back, I wish I would have used Sadie's services earlier with my previous horse. Maybe I would have had a better experience with him if I would have hired Sadie to help. Well, at least I found her now, and she's been invaluable.
In addition to horse training and riding support, Sadie helped me order equipment that was going to be a better fit for my horse than what I had. She also offered advice in feeding and hoof care. Furthermore, before training, Sadie read through all of the information and vet notes about Zeeba's previous injury, checked her over, and let me know she was sound. Sadie's approach is well-rounded, and she not only trains the horse, but she also helps train the horse's human. 😁.
As I grow as a rider, I find that I still have so many questions, and Sadie is a wonderful resource. I've even gone to her for occasional "tune up" lessons which I find to be invaluable.
As I stated at the beginning, I can't say enough wonderful things about Sadie at Sandy Creek Horse Training. Her care, attention, and expertise cannot be beat. I highly recommend her services and well-rounded approach. My horse, Zeeba, and I are very thankful, and we're enjoying the trails together."

From Katie L. (Babe and Scootch's Owner) --

"Sandy Creek was so good for both my horses. Babe is ready to ride and Scootch is so much better and getting the hang of things. I will definitely be doing business with them again if I get another horse or for any tune ups needed. They were well taking care of and worked with every day they were there. I'm looking forward to hitting the trails with babe and Scootch very soon!"

From Todd H. (Dasher, Augy, and Copper's Owner) --

"We are very happy to have discovered 'Sandy Creek Horse Training' . If you're looking for an honest and dedicated trainer that thoroughly listens to your plans for your horse and keeps you updated on what your expectations should be, this is where you should bring your horse. In only six weeks she not only broke 2 of our colts, with outcomes comparative to a seasoned veteran riding horse in several aspects, but also took the time to discover the unknown disciplines of a new horse we just purchased and knew nothing about.

We will continue to bring our colts to Sandy Creek Training. Beautiful setting with trails, a wooden creek bridge, etc perfect set up for training young horses along with her willingness to introduce the horse to highway traffic just a half mile from the stable. There's a great round pen and riding arena as well. I've been in the horse business 30-plus years and trained more horses than most, but now retired from training. Her ability to accomplish what she manages to in only 30 days is extremely impressive."
